Thanks merlin, the E. Huxley in Lithgow seems a bit early with the paper clippings I have.
They are my pop and nan that are buried in Manildra.
My mum and aunty are thinking hard about the little things he told them when he was alive. I think we might be on the verge of discovery. They are trying to remember his stepsisters name, once I know I will post it as it may help narrowing it done.
JM, as far as I know he was 15 yo playing with men. I was hoping it was 1911, fingers are crossed!
Hope easter was good to you all.

Re: Lookup please, NSW death Elizabeth HUXLEY (nee PERKINS)

It may be worth requesting a lookup for Jack Lindsay HUXLEY birth details c1912.  Some chatters have resources for births in NSW to 1918.  Just to make sure the parents' names are correct.

There is no birth registered for a Jack HUXLEY up until 1918 with the parents names of Thomas & Elizabeth.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will do that, not sure if he was born Huxley but worth a try.

Do you have any other surnames you suspect other than HUXLEY?

The burial of Elizabeth HUXLEY at Lithgow I posted was in regards to your reply in post #12:

"I have ordered a transcript for Elizabeth J Huxley who died at Lithgow in 1931 to see if he is on the record, although the time frame dosent match up".

You can also contact the Lithgow Cemetery & ask for further details they have on her burial.

Sorry Merlin, I was all messed up there! Although the time frame dosent seem to line up, I have ordered it anyway. Thankyou for looking for me.

The only other surname for Jack Huxley I can think would be Perkins? Perhaps he was born John. I have often wondered about the Lindsay part of his name, perhaps a grandparent last name?

Iam at a loss at the moment and appreciate all the help   :)

Many thanks
