Hi,

I descend from Thomas Henry Stevens, Sarah Stevens brother.  I've only recently started searching so I do not have that much information available.

I have looked on freeBMD and I have been to the FRC but I cannot find a marriage record for a Sarah A. Stevens between 1855 and 1862.  I have access to the GRO Indexes at my local library and I'll take another look tomorrow.  So far I have discovered Edmund Townsend died in Cefnllys in 1879 and so Sarah moved back to her father's home.  Her younger son Henry Edmund died in 1881 after the census was taken.
Searching for the following:

Carson (Glasgow & Poplar)
Hudson, Phillimore & Stevens (Whitchurch Area, Hampshire)
Huntley & Lawrence (Hitchin, Hertfordshire)
Jervis (India & Staffordshire)
Johnson (North Hertfordshire & Poplar)
Powell (Topsham, Devon & Essex)
