Hi

I added this on your other posting:

Hi and welcome from me too  :)

I've been having a look for your Andrew Logan and find that there is a a Blanefield in Strathblane, Stirlingshire.

On the 1851 census there is an Andrew Logan, aged 18, a bleacher,  living with parents Robert Logan (51) and Margaret Gray (50) in Milngavie, Stirlingshire. His place of birth is given as Strathblane.  Brothers and sisters - Robert (22), John (20), James (15) and Elizabeth (9).

I've not followed them through but he's the nearest to your description.

Regards

Hi,

This could be a possibility for Andrew.

Andrew Logan
Birth Date 19 Oct 1829
Baptism/Christening Date 08 Nov 1829
Baptism/Christening Place, Falkirik, Stirling, Scotland
Father's Name James Logan
Mother's Name Sarah Black

I would invest in some credits for the Scotlands People site and cross check the info.

There is another Margaret Brown on the 1851 in Bothkennar  (if the marriage I found in Bothkennar in May 1851  was theirs)

Carronshore, Bothkennar

Margaret Brown, 28, sewer of muslin, b. Falkirk
