« on: Wednesday 04 May 11 21:59 BST (UK) »
A 28 th March 1905 Boston Passenger list shows a family of Evans - Liverpool to Boston on the Cymric. John aged 42 years.  Ellen Aged 42 years and children:- Frank, Beatrice, Mabel & Ethel.  Also travelling is a Robert Davies aged 28 years and single.
The family are returning home to Sister-In-Law :- Mrs J H Harding at 31 Rockland Street. Natick. Massachusetts - described as sister-in-law to John and sister to Ellen, Aunt to the children.  Robert Davies appears to be the brother-in-law of John Evans.

Can anyone please identify Mrs J H Harding of 31 Rockland Street. Natick. Middlesex. Massachusetts ?

Thank You
Sandra

The 1905-06 Natick city directory has a Walter S. Harding at that address.  This has a child born to Walter S. Harding & wife Patience in Natick - http://www.rootschat.com/links/0d2x/  Walter & Patience are in Weathersfield, Windsor, Vermont in the 1900 Census, and they're probably too young to have a daughter-in-law by 1905, so maybe J.H. was Walter's brother?  I'm not finding any likely matches yet.

Thank you Shelly, really appreciated.  Opens up another mystery because the wife of Walter is Patience Meesom/Messom born in Nova Scotia 1869.  Ellen seems to be Marthe Ellen Musson Evans born 1863 Birmingham.  The surnames are so similar its uncanny  ???

This one is a head-scratcher.  This looks like Walter's birth record:  http://www.rootschat.com/links/0d3e/   Looks like the family is in Brockton, Mass. in 1880 and in North Bridgewater, Mass. in 1870 & 1860.  1850 & 1860 census records show possible older siblings of Walter's named Isabel & Daniel, but nobody who seems to match J.H.

Thank you very much Shelly.  I really can't see a connection from JohnEvans/Martha Musson to Harding -  the passenger list even though jumbled was quite specific on relationships. Tried exploring the Meesom/Messom line a geneation further back but there does'nt seem to be any link between Meesom/Messom and Musson - must just be a coincidence.  ???

Thank You
