I tried to PM you, not sure if it worked.

Thanks for that I would be interested in what you have of Charles / Susannah generation ad their children.

I have had some great help on this line but not really satisfactorily gone beyond John, 1803, though from what has been said by you and Trich below, it seems quite likely that Charles and Susannah may be John's parents, though i need a little more corroboration I think.  I'll see if there is any cross over with Farrar, though i hadn't come across him in all my census work on my lot.

found john and susan on 1851 census as john and susan clegg where was saying they lived at what i think is 81 west street showing as being in st georges parish with john being 48 and susan being 49 with sons james and thomas james being 21,thomas being 24 and what looks like hanson clegg being 21 all being born in yorkshire sowerby. john was a salt & whiteing dealer.

That's the right fame alright, I have all their census it's just johns birth I have been looking for! Think I'm about there now and a generation further back!
