1861 and 1871 - Williams
« on: Sunday 15 May 11 11:47 BST (UK) »
Request lookup in 1861 and 1871 for the family of Eliza Williams, born about 1819 in Solva.   She had at least 3 children all born in Fishguard, Dinah born about 1855, William born about 1858 and Mary born about 1865.   By 1881 Eliza was widowed and living in Wallis Street, Fishguard.

I am particularly interested in discovering Eliza's husband and any other children.   Thank you, Dave

Thank you for all the info.   It looks as if Eliza was widowed before 1871.   It's a strange entry for 1851 where William Williams is described as a visitor.   If it's the same guy he'd been visiting for some time...............

Must be Jordanston which is close to Fishguard.   Thanks again Dave

For the future you may wish to consider the mrge of John Williams to Dinah Evan at St Dogwells on the 23 June 1825.
It could be usefull if someone happened to find John & Dinah in the 1851.

Thank you for the marriage, Orielbenfro.   Until now I was unaware of the parish of St Dogwell despite, in my younger days travelling the Haverfordwest/Fishguard road many times.   Famous, it appears, as the burial place of Owain Glyndwr.

Regards, Dave
