I'm looking for the marriage of James Desborough and Sarah ?  abt 1740. They had children in Little Eversden.

Hi

FamilySearch has several submitted entries for James Disborrow (different spellings) to a Sarah Prime, 2nd March 1741. Orwell Cambridge. England

Any good?

Hi Jan
just looked at that marriage record on the familysearch. I see it was a record submitted by a member of the LDC church. so this record could be false?

It may not be false, but it does need checking whereas if it was extracted I believe it would have been taken from the parish records.

Careful, if this is from parish registers OK, if it is a copy of the submitted record at LDS then care is needed, it could be wishful thinking. If possible contact the submitter, they might have documentation.

What is the date for the marriage at Orwell?  I can't see it in the St. Andrew, Orwell transcript.
