The Harrison family are difficult to pin down.

I have James'  birth on IGI  in 1818 in Bugbrooke - but no date details .

The only marriage I can find for Thomas is to Mary Musson  in Barby ,

but  this family , including son James , appear to have emigrated to USA .

A Thomas Harrison  appears in the 1841 Bugbrooke Census , aged 60 ,

but I cannot find hiss birth around 1781 .

Hi Dav.

There was a large Baptist Church at Bugbrooke as well as the C of E
now the base of the Jesus Army.

Therefore do you think they may have been non-conformists?

I see a baptism for James in Barby to the parents of
the marriage you found.

Thanks Sandy

I think the Barby connection is the wrong branch.

I will explore your Baptist lead .

I now have a birth for Thomas in Bugbrooke ( 12 May 1791 ) which is

early enough for him to be James' father
