Perhaps she was buried back where she was born in Great Hampden?

Makes me wonder about the marriage to Thomas Wright. :o :o ::)

In what respect?

There seems to be a link between Ananias WRIGHT and the widow Faith WRIGHT - apart from the obvious fact that they are both of Hughenden.

In her will dated 5 June 1688 Faith names Ananias as her brother in law - meaning that he is either her late husband's brother or her step-brother.  She names several BURNHAM nephews and neices as beneficiaries in her will, all of them children of Robert BURNHAM.  Possibly the same Robert BURNHAM is a trustee and executor of Ananias's will.  A Thomas WRIGHT is mentioned as a kinsman of Faith and appears as a witness in the will of Ananias.  Finding Faith's husband could help towards finding the parents of Ananias.

I wondered if Sarah Wright, was the widow of Ananias. ???

Just scoured Hughenden, for a baptism of Faith Wright, and come up with the latin version of the Faith name.

Baptism - 15  Mar 1594 - Fides Wright, daughter(filia) of Richard.  But that would make her about 96 years old, at time of burial, in 1688.   Possible I suppose.

Also, there is a 1618, Hughenden marriage a of Faith Wright to a Thomas Ailes, of Bledlow.  And a 1623 Bledlow, baptism of Faith Ales, daughter of Thomas.

Curiouser & curiouser.?

As Faith was a widow when she made her will it is unlikely that she was born a WRIGHT.  You really need a marriage between Faith ? and ? WRIGHT.
