Pyatt family of staffs
« Reply #2 on: Thursday 09 June 11 21:39 BST (UK) »
Rospy

I can see a marriage in 1902 between Prince Albert Pyatt and Elizabeth Beardsley.

After 1911 (when mothers maiden name shown) I can see the following children born with mothers maiden name Beardsley
William (Jun qtr 1912)
Elizabeth (Dec qtr 1914)
May (Jun qtr 1918)
Thomas H (Sep qtr 1921)
Evelyn (Mar qtr 1923)
Albert H (Jun qtr 1925)

Probably a couple more between marriage in 1902 and these I would think.

I have not come across any of these names so far in my research.

I cant see a birth of a Prince Albert Pyatt.

If anyone can help locate, it would be appreciated.

If it is the Albert Pyatt born in Cheadle in 1877 be very careful with his father Joseph!

This is a likely candidate (to whom I am related in two ways I believe to this household!)

1891 census RG12/2181/5/3
63 High Street, Stoke Upon Trent
LEESE Stephen, h, m, 33 Fishmonger b. Longton
LEESE Clara, f, 34 b. Uttoxeter
PYATT Job, stepson, 16, Fish hawker b. Cheadle
PYATT Albert, stepson, 13, Fish hawker b. Cheadle
PYATT Sarah P, stepdtr, 11, Scholar b. Cheadle
WEAVER Ethel, stepdtr, 9, Scholar b. Cheadle
LEESE Rosanna, dtr, 7, Scholar b. Longton
LEESE Flora, dtr, 6, Scholar b. Longton
LEESE Mary, dtr, 6 Scholar b. Longton
LEESE Frances L M, dtr, 6mth, b.Longton

I believe that
Albert PYATT is the son of Joseph PYATT and Clara Nield
Joseph PYATT (registered at birth as HOBBINS) is the son of Sarah HOBBINS (prior to her marriage to James PYATT).
I am descended from Millicent PYATT (daughter of James PYATT and Sarah HOBBINS) through her marriage to Edward Titus LEESE.
Edward Titus LEESE is the brother of Stephen LEESE (above). Both are sons of Edward Titus LEESE and Mary LOCKER.
