Was there a prison on the Isle of Man - Douglas?  If not where did the courts send convicted prisoners?

New jail now at Jurby and Victoria Rd closed - some prisoners were sent to UK institutions (eg non-Manx felons) - others in 19th C were transported (again see manxnotebook)
