the only one I can tell yuo about is hugh d Jones, also known as Hugh Dyfi in literary circles, born Maesglas 1840. this comes from a report in 1905 of his murder in a shooting in a bank in Chenoa, Illinois on 28 October 1905. the assailant was a W Le Duc, who was in debt to the State bank. he shot the chairman and two others there, including Hugh Jones, a farmer and shareholder in the bank. The report says he was one of 11 children, and there are now only two others left there, and a sister in Wales (plus his wife and two children)

Full report here - http://newspapers.library.wales/view/3821994/3821995/13/ - not sure how your welsh is though
