Hmm, I emailed Leask village on monday early. I emailed Leask RM last week.
I wonder what is up on requesting cemetery or burials @1920 on LARSONs (Lars & Laura) an any children.

Just a quick further note,

I looked at Louis's homestead file while at the archives last Friday, stated he had 5 children on a big farm.  He was a carpenter by trade, it seems he wasn't a British subject by birth (not Canadian) but by naturalization.  Louis stated he was born in New York which backs up the Malone, New York angle. 

While we wait for a response from Leask's RM office.

It seems it has been a couple of years since the last posting here, so I hope some of you are still reading!  I am from the Ebert side of the Haram/Larson/Johnson clan, my great grandmother is Petrine Haram, Louis (Lauritz) Larson's older sister.

I have extensively followed the Haram/Larson ancestry in Norway to the mid 1700s and I am willing to share what I have found of Lauritz's parents, grandparents, and great grandparents as well as the family's travels to South Africa 1883-1885.

I just found this.  site. 

To answer some questions.  Larson!  Not sure about the name.  But Skipton cemetery.  I have the map.  It was an Anglican church. 

On the land location.  ne-27-46-5-w3.   I vaguely remember it being called the Larson place.  Grandpa homesteaded the sw portion of that.  I still have that land.

The Skipton district is on the Snake Plain Trail.  Which crossed the North Sask River at Ft Carlton.  It is aprox.  12 miles from the River.  West.  and 4 miles Se of the town of Leask.

I am andrew larson's grand daughter.  My grandfather said him and his siblings stayed in leask until the youngest was old enough.  Hilda and George helped most to raise the kids.  O
