Hi All,

My G.Grandparents, George Alexander Douglas and Isabella MacKay lived at Manson Lane, Priv Ho, Blackheath, Thurso, Caithness according to the 1901 census. Would anyone know if this place still exists?

Hi Harold

Mansons Lane still exists in Thurso but anything old has been done away with; either knocked down as in the old brewery and a row of stone one roomed houses or developed into something more modern.
You can check it out on google maps.
I do not have access to the 1901 at present but if you tell me where 'Blackheath " was I can check it out for you.
