A death in Mexico City

Can anyone help me find a death in Mexico City around 1925?

Isabella Mckenzie ( nee Kemp ) was born in Portree, Isle of Skye, Scotland in 1878.

Her parents were Donald Kemp and Catherine Kemp ( nee MacGregor ).

Isabella married my Great-uncle, Murdoch Mckenzie ( also known as Murdo ) in Portree, Isle of Skye, Scotland on 14 September 1900.

Isabella and Murdoch had five children, Duncan, Lily, Donald, John and Alistair.

Murdoch emigrated to Canada just before World War 1 and Isabella with four of her children ( Alistair remained in Portree ) followed him on 17 July 1921, on board the Pretorian, landing in Quebec.

I understand that the marriage failed, and she died in Mexico City sometime in 1925, but I have no idea about how to go about finding this information.

Can anyone advise me?

My first stop would be FamilySearch.org

The IGI had/has a Mexico section, too, though the latest available might not have been in the 75 year embargo time when it was published last.

Would she still have been a British subject?  Might find something in overseas deaths at the GRO?

I have looked through FamilySearch under every permutation of names I can think of.

I've even searched for her children, but they don't show up either.

I'm at a loss
