It appears to be far from complete.  Has anybody checked it out?

Hah! I looked on Ancestry for a surname that I am trying to do my own little one name study of and ZILCH on the 1861 census. I did manage to find a couple in Worcestershire under some odd transcription but that was it and I know of 10 plus a few more which I haven't collected yet. >:( And I was so excited too :'(

The large, extended family (and servants) I was looking up lived all their lives at The Vicarage, St Peters Street, Worcester.  They were there in the 1851 and 1881 census and according to a diary of an ancestor were visited there in 1863.  Zilch in the 1861 Census.  Something is wrong!

I have only had a quick look for some of my Mayo ancestors, and the one's I looked up all seem to be there, especially one that has now got a wife and children for me to investigate!

Transcriptions on Ancestery are not always accura te. Watton has been transcribed as Walter, and Walton!
Franklin, Maish/Marsh from Dorset then London,Simons/Symonds and varients from Kiddington, Oxfordshire, Hanks from Stonesfield, Leach from Brighton, Smith from Brighton & Henley, Oxfordshire, Fakes/Feakes @ Wells from Suffolk, Lane from Botley & Basingstoke,  Reynolds from Norfolk, Douglass from Bethnal Green, later in Reading and Barnes/Richmond Surrey, Sibley from Hillingon @ Hayes Middx, Tansell @ Watton
