Mel, I notice you have Kendrick in your list of names.  I have Kendricks from Codsall in my other half's tree.  Any connection?

The lock museum is in willenhall. It's in the town centre. I went in a few years ago on halloween night.  It was an interesting evening. I don't know whether it is still open or not. Opposite side of the road to somerfields. Not far from it. There may be a website if you search. The library may be able to help you also and walsall archives in essex streeet or wolverhampton archives.

Hiya Mel,

So that rules out my first thought that my William could be son of James & Sarah.  Quite excited to hear what the other MC tells us, we should then be able to work out if we are connected on the Loundes side - hopefully!
