Was John SIMONS father John SYMONS

I have my g.g.grandfather William Henry Simons born in Phillack, Cornwall 1847 married to Elizabeth Atack . His parents,  John Simons b 1822  and Elizabeth Kestle.
I would like to confirm John's parents were John Simons or Symons b1783 and Elizabeth Wearne.
There appears to be a lot of John's and Elizabeth's . 
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I believe this is my family in the 1851 Census and the Christening of John Jr in 1822. The ages match up.
Are you able to advise John Snares or Elizabeth Wearne's year of birth and parents names?
I have located an Elizabeth Kestle b.1817 with her father's name John Kestle. I wonder if this is the same Elizabeth that married John.
