Doubtful if there would be a stone Robert Reekie Thomson died 26 Apr 1947 in Leys Park Home/Hospital Dunfermline (wife Agnes Munro Gear died 1912 in East Wemyss) but I'd be grateful if you could check it out please.

Apparently he was put in a scalding bath and died a few days later, there was an enquiry I believe.  I have in my notes "Death age 76 Cerebral Softening, 2nd degree Scalding, Surgical Shock at Leys Park Nursing Home "

Hi Fifer    as you thought there is no stone, also checked Wemyss Cemetery
for Agnes but nothing there.

Hi Norrie

Sorry if this appears pedantic but the Dunfermline Cemetery is at Leys Park Road - just in case anybody is trying to locate on MapQuest etc.

Your offer of photographs from the various graveyards is a magnificent gesture and a great  resource. Thanks.
