Ann(e) Brick and William Fielding
« on: Saturday 11 June 11 20:24 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone,
I have an Ann(e) Brick b.10 Mar 1849 Llandrindod Wells, Radnorshire, parents, George Brick and Sarah Woolley.
She m. 9 Apr 1871 to William Fielding at Builth, Breconshire.  Just after the 1871 Census. From then on, I have not been able to find either of them on any census. Have looked at immigration in case they left UK but to no avail. Can anyone offer any advice to where I may look to find this couple. They have been a thorn in my side for such a long time.
Many thanks
Ducie NSW Australia

Are you descended from one of their children?  If so - can we have details of the child as we can often find a census entry that way

Anne is my great Grandaunt and she has been so elusive for years.
I can't find any children because I can't find anything about her after the 1871 Census. She was with her parents George and Sarah Brick in 1871 at Llanely Lower, Llandrindod, Radnorshire.

Oh thank you Osprey, you don't know how much I appreciate this. It has been a thorn in my side for nearly 10 years. I tried the deaths index but with so many Fieldings I didn't have a chance, but you did it. How absolutely marvellous, I can't thank you enough.
You have really made my day now, I'll have a smile on my face you won't be able to to wipe off. Many many thanks
Kind regards and best wishes, Ducie

it was the other way around I found it. I was looking for a William Fielding in 1881 and found the stepson with mother Ann born Llandrindod.

Once again many thanks Osprey. I have found the family and found William jnr's family. Also Anne's  other family of 5 children.
I've been in heaven all day that I don't know whether I'll sleep tonight.
Kind regards Ducie
