16th June 1915. Remember the men of Bellewaarde
« on: Tuesday 14 June 11 12:49 BST (UK) »
Please take a few moments of time to reflect and remember the men who fought and died, British and German, at the Battle of Bellewaarde, Ypres, on 16th June 1915.
This battle was one of the bloodiest, where up to 2000 men of the 3rd Division and Reserve Infantry Regiments Nr. 246, 248 and 132 perished on a field approximately half mile square in less than 12 hours.

They should not be forgotten, they gave their today for your tomorrow!

Please visit www.bellewaarde1915.co.uk and leave a message of remembrance lest we forget.
In Memory of L/Corporal 3555 Austin Frank Broughton 'W' Coy. 1st Bn., Northumberland Fusiliers. Died age 19 at Bellewaarde 16th June 1915
