Hello Alexander,
apparently you have to do 5 or 6 posts before they allow you to send personal messages.
Lets kick it along.
My line of interest is thru Thomas Naismith.b.1720[Jean Paterson], to Son - Thomas Naismith.b.1745 [Christian Wilson], second child Jean Naismith.b.1770[James Miller], first daughter Jean Miller.b.1785 [Francis Harley], first daughter Agnes Harley.b.1803[Robert Elliot], second child jean Harley Elliot.b.1827[John Andrew Ewart McLean].
This is my wifes family the McLeans - John and Jean were well known around the Neilston area of Renfrewshire. He is supposedly from Kirkudbright.

John, Agnes and family moved Gateshead in NewcastleonTyne wher he died.
Agnes and the youngest children moved to Australia in 1869.

Cheers
Jack Gee
