Hi all,good news for subscribers to ancestry.com.They now have a large part of the 1861 census transcribed and indexed online with a good coverage for Herts.Regards,Pete 8)
Mainly researching the Lees from Herts but also compiling a one name study of Culverhouse

Since the 1861 came online today I havn't been off it.So many more people,occupations and places of birth.I know ancestry.com are already putting sample 1851 census's on so hopefully that will be next.Pete 8)

 ??? Has anyone tried to save an 1861 image - I can only get half the picture :(  Have tried two or three times with same image but can't get both halves, if that makes sense..
