i am looking for the grave of my great grandfather james pollock and my great grand mother ellen pollock nee beatty i do not know date of deaths between 1911 and 1940 they lived in newtownards bangor area
their son charles was killed in the first world war my grand father was robert pollock died 1954

In 1901 the family are living in Newtownards area-

Still in same area in 1911-

First place I would try is Movilla Cemetery- Ards Borough Council should have information (although a few years ago when I asked in person they were less than helpful- kepting asking me for exact date of death (which I didn't have) to look up plot number- perhaps their records have finally been computerised).

Hi the first one is my great granny Ellen Beatty i have since discovered their grave in the graveyard on the Newtownards road in Bangor  it was an unmarked grave    Ellen Beatty came from the Cotton or Cottown her father was Charles Beatty
