I am really struggling with my Gt Grandma Mary Stewart b abt.1887 and her mother Annie. She married Richard Burnside in Jun 1911 and thats all I know. I'm just posting this in case anyone has them in their trees

Hi,

 I only started researching my family tree yesterday so i am very new to all of this. Burnside is my mothers maiden name, her father been tommy burnside son of henry and mary burnside (maiden name cunningham) henrys parents were edward and hannah burnside. this is as far as i have come wih it but my mum mentions they were from a travelling background and also i have spotted in this post that there is a mention of a a richard burnside, and i was wondering if he is the same richard i have who is brother to edward. I was wondering whether there was any family connection or not.

Hi my Family are Burnsides /Wilson ,i have Edward 1816 and Anna Burnside 1818 ,they had lots of children they were my great  great grandparents through their daughter  hannah /anna they had lots of children ,can you narrow it down to dates and districts? .I found them easy to trace .Lots of info on them .This family tree stuff is very addictive ,great fun  xxxxx Janeo

My Mum was born Margaret Burnside 1935 and my Nan was Born Edna Burnside 1911 they were born in The Old Tinkers Yard In Huddersfield..My Nan had many brothers and sisters inc Mary Agnes , Martha, John , other possible names are alice, henry , think their where up to 13 in total
My Nan lost her leg at an early age when the wheel of the vardo crushed her leg when she was asleep under it ring any bells
