I should add that there was a lot of Irish connections to the Ayrshire coast ie Stranraer to Larne ferry.

Can't find a Scottish marriage for Duncan sorry.  :-\

if the regiment on the marraige cert is correct, the 2nd Kings were in India & Burma in the 1870s & 1880s.  But, the first battalion were based at the Curragh from 1882 which could be the Irish connection.

The Irish civil registration index contains no entry for Duncan Glasgo/Glasgow- this covers all births, deaths and marriages for all of Ireland 1864-1921 and deaths for the Republic of Ireland up to 1958.
There's also no birth registration for a Margaret Agnes Rose Glasgo or a Margaret Glasgo born in Co. Kildare.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi All,
Many thanks for your continued input on the search for the "Lost" Glasgo clan. lol
I do have a tree on Ancestry with the basic information that i have told you all about on here also. I also have a few Pictures of Margaret.

Would a Scan of the Marriage Certificate help anyone? or a Scan Of Patricia's Birth Certificate? I could post on here, or provide a link to an external site maybe.

A long Shot, but would anyone be able to get to the Hampshire Records office and have a look at the surviving Droxford Union Workhouse Records? to see if there is any mention of Margaret at all?

The Kings Liverpool Regiment info for Duncan is a great idea, many thanks for that.

Please carry on with all your diligent work,
And Many thanks for all you have done so far.
