Ah thanks PM you're very good. If you're in Little Bray I wouldn't mind a photo of the catholic cemetry there as I know my maternal grandmother is in there somewhere.

Is there a list of the inhabitants of the graveyard on line somewhere? I doubt if my poor old grandmother has a headstone as the family was very poor. I bet any money that her parents Edward Toole and Jane Casey are in there too. She must really have wanted to be buried there because she died in Dublin and the most logical thing would have been to bury her there.

Once again thanks to you and Shane.

Thank you so much for this information and the photo. Sadly none of my family had a headstone but it was nice to be able to see photos of the cemetery itself. You really are champion I must say.

I was also looking for Purcell's Field Bray, and could not find it.  I have a birth certificate for Laurence Toole which lists his birth place as Purcells Field and DOB as 1868.  His father is John Toole and his mother is Mary Keenan.  I'm hoping that these names ring a bell.  I have seen Edward Toole mentioned in this thread, but I have not come across it myself.
