Hi my name is belinda marshall my nana was Rozelle sioux I have done a bit of work on this my nan's farther was ange sioux  he took the c out of his name so he could join the army maybe as he wasn't old enough. My nana had a sister violet ..All the girls were named after the bays I think...i found out that they came over to gurnsey as french  imigrants on vessel 1 ..One of the children I think Ernest was deaf and dumb and lived under the stairs my great aunt violet told me this she is still alive I think and I do have a photo of ange sioux in his army uniform ..

I was researching this family for my nephew's partner and had a lot of help from another person based in Jersey.

It was a while ago and I'm not sure that I still have my notes but I will have a good look to see if I can find them.
