Dimmocks of Wing
« on: Sunday 01 May 05 20:39 BST (UK) »
There are a fair number of Dimmocks in the Wing history. Lots have similar names and were born at similar times. I am fairly certain that I have some of mine linked correctly  although there is some work to do. Does anyone have any tree for Dimmocks I may compare? I would be grateful.

Hi
I have just been reviewing the posts since I was last at rootschat to find you have Dimmocks in Wing.
I have some some Dimmocks in my lineage as well although I havent done much in this line at all. I am related through the Headdy family with Hannah being my Great garand mother.
Some where along the lineI have a George Headdy marying  Sarah Dimmock. George being an uncle of Hannahs. This is about 1840's.

There is also an Elizabeth Heady marying a matthew Dimmock in 1767,
a William m an Ann Dimmock in 1840.
Is there any connection?
Would like to hear if there is .
Regards
Robyn

Thanks Robyn.

I'm afraid you go just a little early for me. I have traced back to Thomas Dimmock born 1847 who married Jane Thorn(e) also born 1847. They had ten children, one of which was my grandfather George.
