I just found this page...what a wonderful initiative...I am trying to find my grandfathers missing  WW2 medals..they went missing 45 years ago ...a very long time I know but I am hopeful that one day they will come back to my family. He was Herbert Norman James Hickey ..NSW Australia and served in the Middle East during WW2.

HI, An excellent initiative.  Thank you.
I'm searching for my grandfather's medals.  His name is Lambert Teague of 2nd Bttn KSLI in South African War (1899-1902). Awarded Queens SA medal and date clasp Transvaal  (1902)
He was also in WW1 in 3rd Bttn KSLI (Service no. 7557) - discharged in Aug 1917 with Silver War badge and the WW1 medal trio - all now 'lost'.
Would be more than delighted to know who has them and if they would sell them.
David Teague

Hello
I am trying to locate my grandfathers medals.

Hes Francis Murphy DLI WW1.

Medals were 1914 Star-British War and Victory Medals.

They were engraved.

He applied for the Clasp and Rose in 1933,

There were allocated to him but have since vanished.

No one in the family has seen or heard of them.

I have a Victory Medal named
PTE F. J. J. Kirtland from Somerset Light Infantry, 17862
(I do not have the British medal that should go with it.)
If anyone knows the family......

I am looking for the 3 medal set (WW1, Victory, British, '15 Star) for my Great-Grandad,
Henry John Bowles, 17188 (Somerset Light Infantry) / 29774 (Wiltshire Regiment)

Thanks in advance
