You get a lot of people adding on/ putting back on 'O' and 'Mc' after the Gaelic Revival started.

It can be very uneven, first use of an O in one of my families is about 1913, yet my mother is the first in her immediate family to be registered with an O in 1928, later the same year her brother's death is registered without an O.

Thanks to you giving me the right district I have found a couple of birth records and also one of a new child Bridget in 1885.

r
