hi am looking for help in my siddoway tree my husbands grandfathersw came to australia his name was alfred harold siddoway was married to marion wood I beleive he came from durham but cannot find his family I think his father was william siddoway

thank you heaps alfred harold is my husbanes grandfather who came to australia and had 2 sons allan william siddoway and john albert siddoway if you can help me any more with background or more family members I would appreciate

England and Wales National Probate Calendar

SIDDOWAY William of 13 Clara Street Winlaton County Durham.  Died 28th January 1936.  Probate Newcastle - upon - Tyne 18th February 1936 to Joseph Edward SIDDOWAY and Edmund SIDDOWAY Grocer's Assistants. Effects 376Pound 15s 5d.

Most likely to be Alfred's father.

Alfred's brother Joseph Edward SIDDOWAY served in WW1 starting in the Northumberland Fusilliers and ending up in the Labour Corps. Brother Edmund was with the Royal Garrison Artillery.

Think that must be the right chap because a few years later in 1921, he gives his full name as Alfred Harold Siddoway; 3 rd Engineer on the Clan MacIndoe which sailed from Glasgow to New York

thanks mate for your help there is only the one siddoway family in australia thank god for alfred and maryjane could I trouble you for help with who alfreds parents were so glad to hear from you guys my son is the only son of gary,alfred was his grand father
