McCOY from Pt Augusta - Qld/NSW connection

Hi Dee,
I have a couple more deaths you may be able to find for me:-

McCoy James b.1891 Frome Dist and his wife Mary Bridget McCoy, nee Odonnell b. 1895.   Their children all born in Adelaide.

McCoy, Ethne Everal Isabel b. 1911 Pt Augusta (haven't found marriage or anything else for her in SA.).


There are 3 others born after 1918 so it's possible they could be living.

I have to go out today so I may have to catch up with this later.

Only one of the above that I could find, Sashar.....

James MCCOY of  Blair Athol, aged 79 and husband of Mary Bridget MCCOY, died on 20th February 1971 at Hindmarsh West.

Looking for other children of Robert and Isabel I note also buried in Stirling North are

Eric Clarence Keith, Kevin Victor Clayton, James Robert Benjamin, and Norman Houghin Jack.

All I have for Eric is that he died 1994.
Kevin 2004.
James 2000.
Norman c.1998.

I think I got that from SAGHS so not really positive Id's.

I don't know if they married, had families etc.

He may have married Lillian later in life or she may have been his partner SASHAR

AS well as his ww1 record indexed Percy also has a ww2 index entry.

He enlisted at Brisbane  in 1939 and was then living at Annerley , QLD.
His date of birth is given as 21/8/1894 and he was discharged in 1946.

His NOK then is MARY

This could well be the name which his wife (with whom he appears to be buried) LILLIAN MARY used .
