« on: Saturday 23 July 11 10:42 BST (UK) »
Hi, here is a photo that may have been distributed through the family at the time.
Thomas and Mary had roughly 13 children, Ethel,my nana was born 11/8/1906 at 30 Henry street.Sunderland
Thomas worked as a Ships Rivetter, I am assuming in Sunderland.
If the photo is familiar I will look forward to a reply.
Thank you

Lovely photograph for you to have

I have been  researching one of my lines and have just 'acquired' a Watson

I have Wm Watson b. ( I beleive Greatham) Co Durham c 1804, married pre 1829 to Mary( nee Thompson) Only two children for this marriage Margaret and Ann as they are both females the name doesn't continue...but it is likely they have Watson cousins

1841 living Sedgefield Durham, 1851 Morton Palms County Durham ( Mary had died by then)......
Margaret married a George Woodend in 1852  and Ann married 1848 both in Darlington.

I know this is much earlier than you are looking at the moment and in/around Darlington, not Sunderland however thought it is worth making contact should you find in time your Mary Watson's father/grandfather etc etc is likely to be related, in which case you can PM me

I have no definate siblings/parents for Wm Watson, although I think they may be John Watson and Jane( nee Ayre)

Hello Neil,

Thomas Todd was my Great grandfather, I didn't know him.

As far as I know he was born 1868 and although his parents William and Margaret were from Sunderland. I'm not sure if I have conflicting info as through another contact it was noticed that on the 1901 census Thomas was born in Lyn Norfolk, he lived most if not all his life in Sunderland.
Through some census' William his father was a Mariner and Margaret his mother was born ( again through info gladly given) was born 1828 in Appleton Yorkshire.
Thomas married a Mary Watson
The address that I have for the TODDS is Henry street Bishopwearmouth Sunderland east.
Ethel my Nana moved to the London area in the late '30's early 40's my mum and 3 of her siblings were all born in Sunderland.
My Grand mother Ethel was born 1906 at 30 Henry street Sunderland.

Hi Poppy, Thomas 1881 was the son of Thomas Todd1846 and Mary Wilkinson.
Thomas 1846 was the Son of Christopher 1817 and Mary Drummond. Christopher was the son of Thomas 1783 and Mary Bradley and it keeps going....But I have nothing more than a birth for Thomas 1881.
