Killmune Argyllshire
« on: Saturday 23 July 11 18:39 BST (UK) »
I am searching for a death of a Duncan Ochiltree.  His brothers David, Allan were land owners in 1691.

David and Duncan are found in Mecklenberg NC in 1739. Duncan was one of the signors of the Mecklenberg Declaration of Independence in 1775.

I cannot find death information on Duncan..He was in the service of the Campbells and branded a traitor, hence he was ran out of the country.

Any information would be helpful.

Thanks..
Uchiltre, MacUchtraigh of Gall, Tyrone Ire, Ochiltree, Williams. MacDonald
