Hi,

I have a James Cook born 1826 Skipness/Saddell Parish, buried in Skipness, died 16 09 1905.  He was a shoemaker as was his father. He married Flora Stalker on  18 05 1857, at Carradale, Saddell Parish, they had 6 children, 4 lived.  They resided in Dunoon. This is a later Cook than you have ,however, the relationship could be there somewhere.
