POW's in Scotland
« on: Tuesday 02 August 11 21:12 BST (UK) »
Some time ago I posted an article regarding a letter belonging to my grandfather from Albert Spiegler.  Albert was a POW during WW2 probably Ayr or Mauchline, but returned home to Rostock in Germany.   I know he was a grain miller to trade and I would be interested in finding out how to research in tracing this man's family.  Does anyone know how I can trace more on him and his family.   The letter to my grandfather was written  in Dec 1947, one year after he returned home.  Any help at all would be appreciated.
