Date and repair

Could anything be done with this photo? there is nothing on the back and it is stuck to a thick card.
This is my first try at postying a photo hope I have got it right.

It looks like you have scanned the whole bed,if that is the case could you just scan the photo. you will get a better job done then. Here is my try with your photo.

Thanks Alan, thats much better than the original. The photo  is glued to a thick piece of card, so how can I just scan the photo?

Hi Sheila, Alan just means that you have left in all the white area which is just the scanner lid, you don't have to remove any of the backing of the photograph!

I've cropped off the scanner lid and the large bit of card under the photo and the result is back in your original post

I think you will need to scan it again though, and press it down in the middle where your grandmother is because that part of the photo looks warped and isn't sitting flat on the scanner bed.
