Please can anyone help with a look up please i am trying to find the parents of william girling (b) 1806 watton norfolk.

I don't know how sure you are of Williams date of birth but Free Reg gives a date of birth of a William Girling born in Watton  on 3/10/1809   bp 8/9/1811  at St Mary's..

Father  :Thomas     Mother  : Mary nee Knock

There is also a son Thomas born to the same parents.

Hi Lou Lou,

Alway treat dates and places of birth with caution as these were so often wrong on census's etc.  I would advise always looking a couple of years either side regarding ages.
