In 1881
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/Census/household_record.asp?HOUSEHOLD_CODE=1881CN_634987

Here they are in 1891, as W.W. and Mary as Ann - first son William was born Nova Scotia so correct family
I saw Halifax...but just now see it says "British subject??? Did you get the info from the marriage? There is a Halifax in Nova Scotia
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/census-1891/001081-119.02-e.php?person_id_nbr=2022172

If you are looking for help with family ties,W.W's father was born England, mother born Jamaica

Don't see the Robert you'd found in 1881 on the 1891 census

Full names for the daughters
Martha Hessett Groom  https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.2/MBSD-7RZ/p1
Mary Elizabeth Groom  https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.2/MBSZ-BF8/p1
