Hughes, Dolyronnen Machynleth

I cannot find my husbands grandfather Nathaniel Hughes on any census, I wondered does anyone else have any information regarding the Hughes family

Was he born in Radnorshire or did he just live there after marriage?

Who did he marry and when?

Well if your looking for Nathaniel in Radnorshire it will be pretty difficult!Machynlleth is in Montgomeryshire.When was he born?

well that explains a lot I should have checked which old county macynlleth was in, still having problems finding him though.

He was born in 1889 and I don't know his parents names, I cannot ask my father in law as unfortunately he has dementia.

There is a Nathaniel Hughes whose birth is shown in the Machynlleth District of Montgomeryshire in the Apr/May/Jun quarter of 1887,Volume 11b,Page 162.In the 1891 Census he is showing as the son of a Henry and Hannah Hughes-RG12/4588/52/10.

Just to add to this ~

The North Wales BMD has him born in Darowen which is just outside Machynlleth. it's the only Nathaniel Hughes showing 1886-1891. I know that the Montgomeryshire records have all processed.
