Tombstone Photo Wanted - Hastings Borough Cemetery..

Hi all 

I have a request outside of the usual we see at this sight.

I was wondering if anybody, from Hastings or surrounding area, that owned a digital camera, would be willing to go take some tombstone pictures for me?  PLEASE

I have the Cemetery - Hastings Borough and the Plot etc.  It is a private grave from a burial in 1927 both my Great Grandparents died within a month of each other.  Now I cannot say for certain if indeed there is a tombstone or any marker whatsoever there but would love to know.

I only just obtained confirmation of when they died, then found confirmation of a place of internment. 
Now I would like to tie it up with a photo of their final resting place.

If you can do it or have some advice, please send me a private email or reply here which ever and I will provide the details or rather co-ordinates of where they are in the cemetery.

I have been watching this one hoping that someone will reply who lives in Hastings but apparently not!      I occasionally go over that way so could try to do it for you if you let me have details.  Not sure when though.

Just this past weekend I received a PM from another rootschatter....they will go in the next couple of weeks have a look.... if there is indeed a marker, they will take the pictures for me!

Hi there LUV

Have been across the road to the cemetery.

Found Area L, Section I which unfortunately has very few memorials on it.

By looking at the numbers on the back of some newer memorials (looks like they are reusing some of the area) I was able to follow up the row D3, E3 then F3 - but when it came to G3 there was just a coffin shaped depression in the ground.

Very Sorry LUV, but there is no tombstone to commemorate your ancestors.
