James-Alice Williams Marriage.

My relative James Williams was born in Thingwell Cheshire in c 1852.He is showing in the 1881 Census as married to an Alice born in Thingwell in c 1850.

As I take an extreme dislike to anyone in my Tree with a surname of Unknown,can anyone find me a marriage for the couple which would have taken place around 1872 as their first child George is given as born in c 1873.

Alice's birthyear of 1850 is consistent in 1881 and 1891 but her birthplace in 1891 is Storeton

1851 - 1871 does not have a match to Thingwall but in 1851 there are 3 possibles born Storeton

Alice Smith 1849
Alice Spencer 1850
Alice Taylor 1849

There is an 1871 marriage in Liverpool to an Alice Smith at Our Lady & St. Nicholas & St. Anne www.lancashirebmd.org.uk
