I'm searching for my paternal ancestors called Jeffels although I have found numerous variations of the spelling of the name.  There were a number of families from South Shields, Durham and Middlesborough areas, but I'm also trying to find those who I believe to have come from Yorkshire, England.  Any information regarding the name Jeffels will be greatly appreciated, especially those dating back to 1800 - 1830.  Thanks a million!!

My wife has Jeffels in her line. I have traced the line back to Lythe near Whitby. The family seem to have settled in and around the Whitby area for a number of generations. My wifes GGG granfather William Jeffels (1853-1922) moved to Barnsley South Yorkshire where he ran a Greengrocers.

Hi,
I have a small amount of data on Ernest Jeffers b c1910 who lived in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees. Possibly a photograph if relevant.
