Took me a while to find it again. I dont know if it is her but it is in public member photos.
It is a picture of a gravestone that says Mary Alice Newton 1892-1909. It is from New Hope United Methodist Church. Might be American?

NB: Shilo's later  PM eliminated this one. It was in America

I think we may have all the children
couldn't find any more unless they where using a different name  ::)
on the 1911 census the question is asked how many children have been born, how many still living and how many have died
I am assuming when the census was filled out the crossed out bit would be Kaziah and Edmunds and   Isabella children which would make 6
the 3 born 3 living would be the ones born to Kaziah and Edmund
hope that makes more sense  :)

your right about the occupation of Fredrick but from what we have found with Edmund I think it is all starting to sound normal  ::)

I guess we are looking for a death before 1911 and the possibility that she may have married ???
she would have been 19 in 1911 and what surname was she using etc etc etc etc  lol

with a few choices for husbands.

Hi everyone - you've both been very busy again I see - I agree this family is becoming soooo addictive

Mary Alice Newton born 1888 father Leonard Newton
married  25/12/1909 William Harold Hancock

perhaps your Mary Alice Newton's marriage is the Dec qtr. 1898 marriage Hayfield Derby to either
James Jowett or Walter Edmund Hill

it would seem this Mary Alice married Walter Edmund Hill

1901
Walter E Hill 23 Warrington
Mary A Hill 22 (1879) Wool Sorter Middleton Jennet?
Marion dau 2 Glossop

I'll have more chance later to read through all the posts as hubby & son off to the footie later, have to go and make the customary cooked breakfast now - while listening to the shouts at the TV while England are playing their rugby match!!!  ::) Phew it's half time must go
