I am trying to discover the identity of the wife of my ancestor Thomas Neast (born c. 1772, Chaceley, Worcs). All I have so far is a first name, Elizabeth. I cannot find a record of her birth, marriage to Thomas, death or any other official information about her. A family story says she was the daughter (or sister) of Francis Place, the London radical, but I cannot find anything official so far to back this up.
The Chaceley parish registers show the baptisms of their children at St John the Baptist, Chaceley; their abode is Chaceley, the parents Thomas & Elizabeth Neast & Thomas' occupation 'gardener'.

Thomas Neast, aged 69 (i.e. born c. 1772), is shown in the 1841 census for Chaceley (Gloucestershire). It states he was not born in the county (Gloucestershire).
He also appears in the 1851 census with his son Thomas and daughter Naomi, her husband (Field) and children.
His wife is not listed with him.
He was buried 6 May 1852, aged 80 years.
If anyone is researching the Neast family of Chaceley and can shed any light on the identity of Thomas Neast's wife, I'd be most grateful.
