I see you have done some looking around of the trowbridge cemetery at the down. i was wondering if you have a copy of the burial plans for the site i live in trowbridge and have some rellies who were buried there but obviously would take along time to walk around the whole site. i am also interested in recording and photographing grave sites in the area.

hi,
foolishly i asked wilts council for a plan and was told i was not to photogragh or record any details for any cemetary in the 5 west wilts areas.  They are recording these details themselves whch they will make available (at a cost).
I had already recorded the graves as listed previously.

i would be very suprised if they do record these graves themselves.......

sorry i can't be of more help but the moral of the story is do not approach the council for info, perhaps if you can find a groundsman or if its a churchyard a member of the church maybe more helpful....
