Please help   
                   in the1901 census my grandfather shaw lived in mill street runcorn

in the 1911 census looking for outher members i can only find windmill street
has the street been renamed

There is also a Mill Lane.

This is Mill Street on the 1927 O.S. Map, as you can see one side has been demolished for the construction of Mersey Road.

What number did your Grandad live at in Mill Street?

Shepherd, Moran, Bath, Keating, Putt - Chester
Trussell - Flint / West Bromwich
Hughes - Flint / Oakenholt
Challinor / Chaloner - Chester / Wirral / Hawarden / Holt
Reynolds - Chester
Edwards - Rossett / Pulford
Strange - Chester / Shropshire
Bayliss - Rossett / Allington / Pulford

In the 1911 Census there were only numbers 1,3,5,7,11,13,15, 17 and 19 in Mill Street.
If you go to http://www.1911census.co.uk/ you can do a free "Search for place" Put Mill Street, Cheshire, Runcorn, and you will see the houses in the street.

grandfather was born 11,mill street in 1881     1901 found at  number 13
but no trace of parents James & Mary Shaw after 1901 be gratefull for help

On the 1905 Ordinance Survey Map  MILL Street ran from All Saints Church through to Brunswick Street.
