Marnham Burials -COMPLETED thanks toSunflower
« on: Saturday 17 September 11 12:13 BST (UK) »
I wondered if anyone had a list of Burials at Marnham who could do me a look up please as I am looking for the burials of William & Elizabeth Harvey or their son George?

Their children were baptised there (1741/1758) & that is the only information I have about them.  I do not have a Marriage for them either or Elizabeth's maiden name.  If George was buried at Marnham at least it would prove I am barking up the wrong tree with my research!

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Many thanks

Gill

Hi Gill

Marnham burials are covered on the Notts FHS CD up to 1812, but no sign of any Harvey's.

Their abode on the baptisms entries is given as Grasthorp.

Hi Gill

This could be their marriage

William Harvey of Sutton, servant 32 & Elizabeth Hayes of Besthorpe 18 spin, married by licence at Kneesall, Notts

Grassthorpe, Sutton & Besthorpe are a few miles from each other.

Thanks Carol.

I think the best thing I can do is to see if I can find out where George & siblings went to, I am hoping it is Lincolnshire as that is where I think he may have gone.

FH is so frustrating at times.
