Bristol & Bedminster Parish Records

Hi,
can anyone give me some advice please.
In order to further my family research I need to confirm my gg grandfather's marriage. I think it may have been in around 1835-1837 in Bedminster, or certainly in the Bristol area.
Where will I find parish records? I have looked on Genuki, but still get confused with all the boundary changes, whether I need to look in the Somerset area or Gloucestshire. Also, is it the records office or library I need to go to?
I'm grateful if anyone can clear this up for me.

MORGAN - Bristol, London, Northumberland
CHARBONNIER - Jersey, Bristol, Devon
CARTWRIGHT - Birmingham

Bedminster comes under Somerset but north of that is Gloucestershire.  If it was in (sept>)1837 then a search can be done either in ancestry BMD or freeBMD.org.uk  before that date you will need to try the library or record office.
